I love pale yellow irises, and this one is a beauty. The white falls really make the center, which is more "yellow", simply glow. I planted in the fall of 2018, and last summer (2019) it had one single, but lovely bloom. This year (2020) it has really come into its own. The bloom stalk is really robust, and holding 4 blooms. The first bloom opened earlier than other tall bearded (actually, looked ready to open at about the same time as "Queen of May"!). And, it has lasted quite a while - It still looks nice on day 4, whereas another unnamed yellow similar in stature and color, has already become spent. What a large, lush flower - I may need to get a few more, LOL!
